Easter dress code

Easter …

Happy Easter everyone first of all!

I was just wondering which is your own outfit for Easter?

Christmas celebrations is, let’s say, quite easier because it is winter (I know not in Australia but …), and is big family gatherings, with parents and closed ones … so definitely the outfit needed goes towards the smart side. But not as smart as New Year’s Eve, I mean more sober, with less sparkling lights, and more warm colors and red. Yes, red. I remember this past Christmas my dress was just red, a warm dark colored red, but red. Red seems the perfect color for those festivities. But not for Easter.

So then what?

Well mostly depends on the weather. And when Easter falls each year.

This year, 2017, we are speaking about the 16th of April, so already Spring time, started a while ago, and quite hot also. Some rains here in Florence, but no more coats for sure! No more wool also.

So then what?

It mostly depends where we have to go to.

My Easter will be quite simple tomorrow, just me and my mum, so I do not have to exaggerate, I wouldn’t have anyway.

So maybe not jeans and hoodie, but not even a smart evening outfit too.

But for sure we have to make a difference with everyday dressing, so maybe we could go for some details to stress that it is a “special day”.

I remember once, years ago, I was just on a trip with friends, so Easter lunch was as simple and as warm as friends company is.

We use to say: “Christmas with your family, and Easter with whoever you want!”

So in the end it will be up to you! Depending on the company and the location of course! High heels in the countryside maybe not …

Be at ease. Not too formal. Something you can feel you are aware of the special day that is, but with a more “soul dressing” than body clothing.

What about the colors?

Freedom of choice. Maybe a touch of color yes, not black or grey only. We need colors. As color therapy also teaches, we have to be lifted up also by bright colors.

My city, Florence, has the Purple as color for our football team, so I do love it really, I am wearing it today also! So why not a nice purple?

So for Easter dress code I would advice moderation, but colors!

And have a lovely Easter time everyone, trying not to eat too much chocolate and cakes! But anyway enjoy!

I remember spending my Easter in London, when I was living there, quite many years ago, working … Some chocolate arrived anyway but it was a working outfit I was wearing …

Anyway, most of all we have to feel Easter inside, in our hearts.

So let’s the light inside us be the shining light that dresses ourselves also.

Love has to be the best ever outfit we could ever wear, in our sight, in our gestures, to make everything brighter.

Happy Easter again to everyone.

You all take care!

See you next

Kid’s wear … a big chapter in the FASHION market

Here I am again!

This time quite a different topic …

Do you have any children?

Personally no, I do not have any. And I am not looking for having any for the time being. But I have attended in January the famous Pitti Bimbo exhibition, here in Florence, and I can say that it is a fascinating world for what concerns fashion and the clothing business.

One maybe obvious thing to say is that kid’s wear is not just simply an adult’s wear shrunk in size! It is much more! And different … and unique garments that only kids can wear looking amazingly beautiful!

20170121_144739

One thing that I feel like saying is that kids have their own world which is precious, so I agree that children should not be dressed like little women or men, but like kids.

I don’t want to put here pictures of me when I was little, but I quite enjoyed looking back at them, and seeing how sometimes I was dressed so pretty! Thanks mum for the clothing choices and matches!

Then I remember when I was little, the first time I was trying to use make-up. And it was just for Carnival that make-up was permitted … the last day at school performance … these kind of events.

And playing with clothes in my grandmother wardrobe, wearing no matter what, and jewels: necklaces … Modeling was a kind of a game.

Kids should remain kids. They have time to face adulthood and all its beauties but also problems.

Another important thing is that kids should feel comfortable in what they are wearing, and not just look cute.

I remember at the elementary we were obliged to wear skirts, as girls, and I was not caring, I was playing football with my school mates anyway!

There are so many different garments.

For going to school, for going to play sports, for attending a birthday party and special occasions …

At Pitti really quite many inspirations for new outfits.

If there is any kid’s wear BUYER within you readers, please feel free to contact me privately for business proposals.

If you will be able to attend next year is a very interesting fair. Just once a year, but worthy.

So many different outfits …

In colors, design …

Here I just put some random pictures I took at the Pitti exhibition with no specific reference to any brand. In some stands they did not even allow me to take pictures …

Thanks again for reading me …

Next post different topic!

But I hope I gave you some inspirations in this one about such a big world as kid’s wear is …

Feel free to write me for more ideas and projects.

See you soon
